Apply to graduate by Feb. 23, 2024 for the Spring 2024 semester. This will ensure your name is included in the commencement program.
Important note: if you have a FERPA restriction on your student account, your name will not print in the commencement program. To check FERPA restriction status, login to SIS, click "My Profile," select “FERPA Restrictions” in the left navigation, then "FERPA Activities View." To remove restrictions, simply un-check the box.
Pre-registration for Spring 2024 ceremony participation closed on April 12; however, students are still welcome to participate in their ceremony! Students will simply need to fill out a blank name card upon their arrival on the day of their ceremony. Graduates that pre-registered will have a printed name card.
Graduates are listed in the program of the semester in which they receive their diploma, regardless of when they participate in a ceremony.
There are no printed commencement programs on-site at any ceremony location. QR codes will be available for viewing. Spring 2024 programs are available by completing the form below. Programs will be mailed after the ceremonies.
We are excited to introduce a new platform for family, friends, and alumni to show their support for their graduate or the entire graduating class by submitting personalized messages to be displayed prior to the start of the ceremonies*. You may submit a text-only message or include a photo. The links to submit your message can be found in the MSU Today Spring 2024 Commencement article. Be sure you select the correct ceremony so that your graduate has the chance to see your message! Due to time limitations, please note that not all submissions may be displayed.
*Only available at Breslin Center ceremonies
Watch the Commencement ceremonies online. The recordings of each ceremony will be uploaded to the WKAR website a few weeks after ceremonies.
