The MSU Alumni Office, along with the Division of Student Life & Engagement, invites graduating students to a reception at Cowles House prior to each commencement.

Join fellow graduates at historic Cowles House for an evening celebrating your accomplishments and time at Michigan State University. Enjoy complimentary food and beverages, have a professional photo taken with new MSU President Guskiewicz and meet Sparty and get a photo with him.

This invitation extends only to graduating students in the current semester and cannot be transferred to friends or family. For spring 2024 graduates, invitations will be emailed in March to all students who have applied for graduation. Students choose one of the two dates to attend. The attire for this event is business casual. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
