President's Reception
Welcome to the Spartan Alumni family!
The MSU Alumni Office, along with the Division of Student Life & Engagement, invites graduating students to celebrate their accomplishments at Cowles House prior to each commencement.
Join fellow graduates, deans and administrators to honor your accomplishments at Michigan State University. This event takes place at the historic Cowles House, home of President Guskiewicz.
There are three Graduation Celebrations on April 14, April 15, and April 22. The program is the same for all events. Spring 2026 graduates may select one event to attend.

This invitation extends only to graduating students in the current semester and cannot be transferred to friends or family. The attire for this event is business casual.
There is no cost to attend, but advance registration is required. Space is limited so register early! RSVP by April 6 at 11:59 p.m. EST or as space allows.

Beaumont Tower Climb
The Beaumont Tower Climb for Seniors is a new Spartan tradition and a memorable way to mark graduation.
Graduating seniors are invited on a special tour of the inside of Beaumont to learn about its history and significance to MSU and enjoy stunning views of campus from the top.
April 24, 2026: 11 a.m.-12 p.m.*, 12-1 p.m., and 1-2 p.m.
April 27, 2026: 12-1 p.m., 1-2 p.m., and 2-3 p.m.
April 28, 2026: 2-3 p.m., 3-4 p.m., and 4-5 p.m.
Tours are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis with limited availability.
*President Guskiewicz will be taking pictures with all registrants for the Friday, April 24, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. timeslot. Only those registered for this timeslot are encouraged to wear their cap and gown.
