Welcome to the Spartan Alumni family!
The MSU Alumni Office, along with the Division of Student Life & Engagement, invites graduating students to celebrate their accomplishments at Cowles House prior to each commencement.
Join fellow graduates, deans and administrators to honor your accomplishments at Michigan State University. This event takes place at the historic Cowles House, home of President Guskiewicz.
There are two Graduation Celebrations on April 23 and April 24. The program is the same for both events. Spring 2025 graduates may select one event to attend.

What to expect:
- Complimentary food and beverages
- Professional photo opportunity with President Guskiewicz
- A chance to see Sparty from 5:30-6:15 p.m.
This invitation extends only to graduating students in the current semester and cannot be transferred to friends or family. The attire for this event is business casual.
There is no cost to attend, but advance registration is required. Space is limited so register early! RSVP by April 16 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
