Spring 2012 Commencement Schedule
Undergraduate Convocation, Friday, May 4, 1:00 p.m., Breslin Center. Mary Robinson, Ireland's first female president, will address graduating seniors at the 1:00 p.m. Undergraduate Convocation, and be awarded an honorary doctorate of laws. Mr. Robert Skandalaris, an MSU alumnus, philanthropist, and successful entrepreneur, will be awarded an honorary doctorate of business.
Advanced Degree Commencement Ceremony, Friday, May 4, 7:00 p.m., Breslin Center. Subra Suresh, Director of the National Science Foundation, will address advanced degree candidates and awarded an honorary doctorate of science. Emil Boc, former prime minister of Romania, will be awarded an honorary doctorate of laws.
