Apply to graduate by Feb. 28, 2025, for the Spring 2025 semester to ensure your name is included in the commencement program.
Important note: if you have a FERPA restriction on your student account, your name will not print in the commencement program. Restrictions must be removed by Oct. 11 for your name to print and can be checked in SIS in the “My Profile” tile.
Pre-registration for ceremony participation closed on April 18 at noon; however, students are still welcome to participate in their ceremony! Students will simply need to fill out a blank name card upon their arrival on the day of their ceremony. Graduates that pre-registered will have a printed name card.
Graduates are listed in the program of the semester in which they receive their diploma, regardless of when they participate in a ceremony.
There are no printed commencement programs on-site at any ceremony location. QR codes will be available for viewing. Spring 2025 programs are available by completing the form below. Programs will be mailed after the ceremonies.
Family, friends, and alumni are able to show their support for their graduate or the entire graduating class by submitting personalized messages that may be displayed prior to the start of the ceremonies*. You may submit a text-only message or include a photo. The links to submit your message can be found below or in the MSU Today Spring 2025 Commencement article. Be sure you select the correct ceremony so that your graduate has a change to see your message! Due to lime limitations, please note that not all submissions may be displayed.
*Only available at Breslin Center ceremonies
