Commencement ceremony is 2 1/2 HOURS.

There is construction at the Breslin Center. The Hall of History (Southeast) entrance is closed. Parking is limited in the area. We encourage all participants and their family and other important guests to use the Commencement Shuttle Bus Service. Buses are accessible. There is no charge.
For the safety and convenience of commencement participants and guests, please be aware:
ALL bags are subject to search. To avoid delays, it is strongly recommended that bags are NOT brought to the Breslin Center.
NO food or beverages or other liquids are to be brought into the Breslin Center. Please leave these items in your vehicle or discard before entering the facility.
For your family and guests, concession stands will open one hour prior to the start of the ceremony and remain open through at least the first 60-90 minutes of the ceremony. Menu is limited to hot and cold beverages and some snack items.
Doctoral Degree or Educational Specialist Degree reserve rental apparel through the Spartan Spirit Shop. Deadline and late fee will apply. Rentals will be picked up the week of commencement. See Spartan Spirit Shop for details.
Following the ceremony, you may return rentals at your assembly location (Auxiliary Gym); or please return rentals to the Spartan Spirit Shop, MSU Union Building, 49 Abbot Road, by Monday, May 8. Late fee applies after that date.

SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE is strongly recommended to graduates and guests. View Shuttle Bus Service Map. Buses run every 10-15 minutes, Friday, May 5, Breslin Center. Golf cart transportation from the Birch Road shuttle stop will be available for those requiring assistance. NO CHARGE. Shuttle buses are accessible.
Since other ceremonies are scheduled at the Breslin Center, shuttle buses will run from late morning and into the evening from:
President's Reception at the Cowles House for graduates. Invitations to graduates will be emailed late-March. If you are attending, be sure to reply to the email invitation.
